CLASS LIST
Puppy Kindergarten (private class): Owners and their puppy work 1 on 1 with a trainer. This class lays the foundation for a calm, obedient, well-mannered and balanced dog.
Content: This class teaches the concepts of managing your dogs time, rewarding good behavior, health care, kids and dogs, puppy mouthing, jumping, food bowl manners, safe and positive socialization, and appropriate manners for the grooming table and vet visits. This class also introduces the commands sit, place, come when called, and loose-leash walking,
For: Puppies 10 weeks to 4 months old on the first day of class
Length: 5 sessions scheduled individually with the owner

Prerequisites: first two rounds of parvo/distemper vaccinations
Beginner Obedience: Our beginner class will help you build a bond based on two way respect between dog and handler. Basic commands will help you achieve a well mannered pet the entire family can enjoy for years to come. Common behavioral challenges will be addressed.
Content: sit, down, stay, come when called, leave-it, loose-leash walking, heel, motivating your dog to learn, living with your dog, getting and keeping focus, jumping, and bite inhibition.
For: Puppies and dogs 4 months and up
Length: 1 time per week for 6 weeks (First class humans only)

Prerequisites: up to date on parvo/distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccinations
Intermediate Obedience: This class will build upon what is taught in the beginner obedience class. Strengthen good manners, get faster, more reliable responses, and learn how to decrease food rewards.
Content: stand, formal recall, finish, stay w/ distance added, over, proofing/handling distractions, polite greetings, rate of reinforcement,
For: Dogs 6 months and up that have successfully completed beginner obedience or with instructor approval.
Length: 1 time per week for 6 weeks (dogs come all 6 nights)

Prerequisites: up to date on parvo/distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccinations
Advanced Obedience: Continue your dog’s training with a higher level of focus and precision. There is a lot of material at the advanced level so topics will vary each session. Advanced class is geared toward a higher level of education for family companions.
Content: heeling, rally obedience and obedience competition skills, advanced attention around distractions, transitioning to work off-leash, and more.
For: Beginner and Intermediate obedience or with instructor approval. Dogs must be responsive to owner and able to focus in a group environment.
Length: 1 time per week for 6 weeks (dogs come all 6 nights).
Location: Locations for class vary each week throughout the community so the dogs can practice their skills in a variety of situations with different levels of distraction.

Advanced Obedience II: In this class, we introduce new advanced skills while building on all previously learned skills. In addition to learning new skills, this class builds reliability across various settings and levels of distraction.
For: This class is for dogs who have successfully completed Beginner, Intermediate, Advance I and Low Level Remote Collar (optional) obedience classes.
Length: 1 time per week for 6 weeks (dogs come all 6 nights).
Location: Locations for class vary each week throughout the community so the dogs can practice their skills in a variety of situations with different levels of distraction.

Board & Train: We train your dog for you! Board & Train is an accelerated way to get a better-behaved dog. A professional trains your dog in several short, intensive sessions per day. Between sessions, your dog gets to play and have fun in our daycare. Book your dog for Board & Train while you’re out of town anyway and return to a dog with better manners. We’ll show you how to keep the good behavior in place with our "go home" session on the last day.
Length: 1 week
Cost: $650 plus cost of boarding
Prerequisites: up to date on parvo/distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccinations
Day Camp: Like Board & Train, Day Camp is a faster way to get a better-behaved dog than doing it yourself. If you would like a professional to train your dog, but don’t want your dog to be boarded overnight, this is the option for you. Drop your dog off during the day for 1 or 2 weeks for training and daycare, and see the transformation. Similar to private lessons, Day Camp allows your trainer to focus on skills specific to your dog and at their pace. You, the owner, will learn the commands your dog has learned and are shown how to maintain your dog’s new, improved manners in your home during your "go home" session. Your "go home session will be scheduled with your trainer at the end of your dog's Day Camp training.
Length: 1 or 2 week full day daycare sessions
Cost: $500 plus cost of daycare (1 Week) OR $875 plus cost of daycare (2 weeks)

Private Lessons at Doggie Stylez: We evaluate your dog, give you immediate advice to get started, then coach you step by step through a training program that gets you the results you want. One-on-one lessons are great for all basic manners and obedience training, as well as behavior problems. Private lessons allow us to focus on what is important to owner.

Private Lessons In Owner's Home: We bring training to you! Training sessions will be conducted at your home based around your schedule. Our trainer will come to your home and work with you and your dog in its home environment. In-home lessons allow you to work at your own pace and really focus on teaching your dog skills that are specific for your dog an family's needs.

- All dogs require proof of Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatellla vaccinations.
- Doggie Stylez requires that the Bordetella vaccine be administered at least two weeks prior to arrival.
- This is mandatory and is for the benefit of your pet as well as any other dog in the care of Doggie Stylez.
